# Workpaper > Workpaper gives every AI agent its own computer with a browser: a private Linux machine, completely separate from other computers, ready in about 200 ms and billed by the second at ₹1 an hour in India or $0.010 an hour elsewhere (2 vCPU, 4 GB, 10 GB disk). Agents such as Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode, or any CLI tool, can install, build, test and keep their work. Stopping a computer saves everything, including programs that were running, and stops billing. ## Getting started - Install the CLI, then run `workpaper run my-agent` to create a computer named my-agent and open a shell in it. Every new computer needs a name; it is how you reach it later. - Free trial: 60 minutes of runtime on one 2 vCPU, 4 GB, 10 GB disk computer, with no sign-up. Internet access on the trial is limited to code downloads and AI model services. The computer is kept for 3 days after last use so it can be claimed by signing in. ## CLI commands - `workpaper run [-- cmd]`: create or wake the computer with that name, then attach a shell or run a command. Without a name it wakes the computer used last; a new computer always needs one - `workpaper ls`: list computers and their remaining runtime - `workpaper stop [name]` / `workpaper start [name]`: stop billing and keep everything / pick up where you left off - `workpaper fork [name] `: copy a computer into a new one, including its files, memory and running programs, in under a second; the two are independent afterwards (needs an account) - `workpaper exec [name] -- cmd`: run one command and report whether it worked - `workpaper cp SRC DST`: copy files in and out (remote paths are `name:path`) - `workpaper rm `: delete a computer - `workpaper auth login`: sign in with a browser, or with a code (`--device`) over SSH - Every command accepts `--json` for scripts, CI and other agents. ## Pricing - Free trial: ₹0 / $0, 60 minutes. - Pro: $15 a month, all returned as usage credit (about ₹1,425 in India, $15 elsewhere). ₹1 / $0.010 an hour for 2 vCPU, 4 GB, 10 GB disk; ₹2 / $0.020 an hour for 4 vCPU, 8 GB, 20 GB disk. Up to 2 computers running at once. Full internet access. - Usage packs: $15 for another 1,500 hours that never expire, for Pro subscribers; used after the monthly credit. Packs add hours, not more computers at once. - Capacity: when the service is full, the CLI waits in line for a free computer (nothing is charged while waiting); paying users go before free trials. ## Comparison (2 vCPU, from each provider's published rates) - Price per hour: Workpaper $0.010; Cloudflare about $0.090 (2 vCPU, 8 GB, CPU busy 10% of the time); Vercel about $0.110 (2 vCPU, 4 GB, CPU busy 10% of the time). - Typical time until the computer is ready: Workpaper 190 ms (5 starts on one server, 5 Oct 2026); Cloudflare 648 ms and Vercel 670 ms (ComputeSDK's test of 100 computers starting at once, 2026). The test conditions differ. ## Links - [Home](https://workpaper.co/): product overview, live CLI demo, comparison and pricing. ## Documentation - [Docs index for agents](https://docs.workpaper.co/llms.txt): every docs page with a one-line summary - [All docs in one file](https://docs.workpaper.co/llms-full.txt): the full documentation as markdown
